If your looking for both maximum "durability and highest performance" always choose our top model PROV5(+) and not PROV5 or V5 which even though both are great strings, they are not nearly as durable and more "performance" oriented type strings when compared to our top of the line model PROV5(+) Natural Gut strings. Again, If durability is not as critical to you then choose either our lessor coated but still extreme high quality serosa PROV5 Natural gut for the 2nd best playability/feel string option and then 3rdly (cheapest cost lessor quality serosa) our regular lowest cost V5 Natural Gut string option.

Do I suggest stringing high tension with gut? No and almost never because you get so some much more "ball pocketing" with lower tensions (40-54lbs) and increased durability.

Similar to using all Natural Gut strings, a hybrid of both Natural Gut and Poly strings takes some of the pressure off your arm, while the Poly provides more durability, power and a longer lasting string bed. Placing our gut on the mains will give you added power, but if you place our gut on the crosses you're going to get more control and increased durability.
